Information We Collect

Account Information

When you use Peeps, we collect your player name, avatar customization choices, and device tokens for push notifications. If you link your account via Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google, we receive your Apple or Google email address solely to identify your account across devices.

Game Data

We store your game progress including photo records, photos (uploaded to secure cloud storage), unlocked cosmetics, gacha pull history, coin and PCoins balance, pet data, and room memberships.

Chat Messages

Messages sent in game rooms are stored and visible to other players in the same room. Do not share sensitive personal information (passwords, financial details, etc.) in chat.

Analytics & Usage Data

We collect product analytics to understand how the game is used and to improve it. This includes session duration, screens and features interacted with, device model and OS version, and app lifecycle events. These events are associated with your player ID so we can measure behavior across sessions, but we do not sell this data. Analytics is processed by PostHog, Inc. (US) and Google (Firebase Analytics). Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Game data is stored in PostgreSQL, real-time session data in Redis, and photos in S3-compatible secure cloud storage. Product analytics events are processed by PostHog, Inc. (stored in the United States) and Google Firebase Analytics. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Your data is only visible to other players in shared game rooms (player name, avatar, messages, photos). We use third-party analytics processors — PostHog, Inc. (https://posthog.com/privacy) and Google Firebase Analytics (https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy) — to understand product usage. Analytics events are linked to your player ID but are not combined with data from other services to build cross-app profiles, and we do not use them for advertising.

Children's Privacy

Peeps involves photo sharing and social interaction. We recommend it for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.
